The Life That Bears Fruit

In the coming weeks, people will flock to local garden centers to purchase mulch and manure! Why? Unless we focus on working on the heavy clay based soil in Calgary, nothing much will have a chance to grow in our flower beds and vegetable gardens as spring sets in. In Matthew 13, Jesus speaks of the human heart in need of the same attention. In the four soils that are described in the parable of the Sower, we can learn so much about the human heart. Our own heart is reflected in one of the four soils presented and for some of us we might not like the current condition of the soil of our heart. Take heart!
