Easter at Foothills

A Service of Reflection and Remembrance - Good Friday at 9 & 11am

On Good Friday, we gather not only as a church, but alongside other congregations within our Alliance family and partner churches across our city. Together, we pause to remember the depth of Jesus’ love displayed on the cross.

Good Friday is a sacred moment to pause and remember the depth of Jesus’ love. Through Scripture, worship, and quiet reflection, we gather to consider the power of the cross — the place where mercy met justice and hope was born through sacrifice.

This service is meaningful, contemplative, and centred on the story of Christ’s suffering and death. Whether you have followed Jesus for years or are simply exploring faith, you are welcome to come, sit, reflect, and remember.

Come and experience the weight of Good Friday — and the love that carried it.

Celebrate the Hope of the Resurrection - Easter Sunday at 9 & 11am

Easter changes everything.

On Easter Sunday, we gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus — the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness. This is a joyful, hope-filled service with uplifting worship and a message that reminds us that no story is too broken for God to redeem.

Bring your family. Invite a friend. Whether church is a long-standing tradition for you or something new, Easter is the perfect time to come and experience the hope that only Jesus brings.

He is risen — and that changes everything.

What to Expect at Easter

Easter is one of the most meaningful and hope-filled celebrations of the year—and we would love for you to join us at Foothills Alliance Church.

Whether you attend church regularly, haven’t been in years, or are simply curious about the story of Easter, this is a welcoming space for you and your family.

A Celebration of Hope

Easter is all about the resurrection of Jesus Christ—the moment that changed everything. It’s the declaration that sin doesn’t have the final word, shame doesn’t define you, suffering isn’t wasted, and death is not the end. It’s a day of joy, renewal, and fresh beginnings.

Our Easter services are celebratory, meaningful, and accessible for everyone.

What the Service Is Like

Our Easter gatherings typically last about 75–90 minutes and include:

Joyful, Uplifting Worship
We’ll sing songs that celebrate the hope and victory of Easter. You’re invited to sing along or simply take it in—whatever feels comfortable for you.

A Clear & Encouraging Message
You’ll hear a practical and relevant message centered on the hope of the resurrection and what it means for real life today—whether you’re confident in your faith or full of questions.

A Welcoming Environment
Expect a warm atmosphere, friendly faces, and a church family genuinely glad you’re here. No pressure. No awkward spotlight. Just space to explore and encounter hope.

For Kids & Families

We offer engaging, age-appropriate kids programming during our services, designed to help children understand the meaning of Easter in a fun and safe environment. Our volunteers are trained and screened, and we recommend arriving a few minutes early for check-in if it’s your first time.

There is Foothills Kids programming for kids age 2 to gr 6.  Check out our Children's Ministries page for more details.
