The Wise Jesus

In Matthew 22:15–22, Jesus is confronted with a trap: should God’s people pay taxes to Caesar? His answer reveals far more than clever wisdom—it shows us what it means to live faithfully in a world of competing powers. We are called to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, but even more, to give to God what is God’s—our very lives. True freedom and authority come not from political systems, but from the presence and power of God revealed in Jesus.
