The Last Supper
The King & the Cross
February 8 • Jason Fan
So much of our lives revolve around food. We plan our meals, we look forward to special dinners, we gather around the table with family and friends to celebrate significant occasions. If you knew you only had one more chance to share a meal with people you are close with, people you love, who would they be? In this week's passage, we are closing in on the last few days of Jesus' life and He was faced with this scenario. We see Him gather with the twelve disciples, His closest friends over the past three years. This would be their last meal together. But there would be a dramatic twist in the plot. Those that are closest to us can sometimes be the ones who hurt us the most. Jesus was about to experience this terrible reality. Join us as we journey with Jesus through this intimate moment with His closest followers. You might be surprised by where you find yourself in the story.
