Intercultural Ministries at Foothills exists to welcome and serve newcomers to Canada, helping immigrants and their families settle into life in Calgary while building pathways to Jesus. Each week, free classes and community events provide opportunities to learn, make friends, and feel connected. From English classes and cultural orientation to ping-pong clubs and social gatherings, everyone is invited to participate. For those with spiritual curiosity, we walk alongside people as they explore faith and take steps toward Jesus. Friendly volunteers lead conversations, listen well, and create space where people from every background can belong.
Current Programming
Intercultural Ministries at Foothills provides free classes to help newcomers to Canada settle into Calgary, make friends and feel connected. Some classes are large and some are small. Everyone is welcome. Students will receive a weekly email with links to Zoom and lessons.
