Prayer Pathways
Prayer is simply talking to God and listening for His voice. It is all about relationship with our loving God.
Pray First
Join us the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm as we gather for church-wide prayer. We will worship, call out for God to meet our global, church and personal needs and listen for His voice together. Pray First reminds us that we look to God before we do anything else. It expresses our ultimate dependence on Jesus’ direction and empowering as a community of faith.

At any time, you can share prayer requests that will be shared with our church prayer team, who will lift your needs up to our Heavenly Father. Click here to share a request or contact the church office.

Altar Prayer
We are committed to supporting one another through prayer. Following each Sunday morning service, our prayer team is available under the cross at the front and back of the Worship Centre to pray with and for you.
Pre-Service Prayer - Sundays @ 8am
Join us for Pre-Service Prayer in the Prayer Chapel! Come pray with us on Sunday mornings before the 9am worship service! This is a time to seek God together, pray for our church and prepare our hearts for worship. Everyone is welcome - whether you love to pray out loud or prefer to pray quietly. We’d love for you to join us as we lift up our church and community in prayer!
Prayer for the Sick
Our Elders are available to meet with individuals who desire anointing with oil and prayer for healing, as encouraged in Scripture (James 5:13-16). If this is something you would like, please reach out to carla.olsendraper@myfoothills.ca to arrange a time.
Men's Tuesday Prayer
Start your day with purpose and fellowship! Our Men's Prayer Group meets every Tuesday morning at 7am online. It’s a great opportunity to grow in faith, support one another and lift up our families, church and community in prayer. Email kris.singer@myfoothills.ca to receive the online invitation.
Week of Prayer - September and January
Each September and January our church family sets time aside to focus on prayer as an expression of our dependence on Him. We give thanks for all God has done and call out for Him to work in powerful ways that will build His Kingdom and glorify His Name as we move forward with Him. Watch for details for corporate gatherings, personal and small group resources.
Prophetic Ministry
The Prophetic Ministry seeks to create a safe space for all to learn and grow together in prophesying and/or receiving prophecy so that the body of Christ is “edified, encouraged and comforted” (1 Cor. 14:3-4) and “built up” (1 Cor. 14:26c, Eph. 4:11-12.)
Personal Prophetic Ministry
Would you like to be "encouraged, edified and comforted" (1 Cor. 14:3)? Sign up on our Foothills Webpage under Events for a 15 minute session where a gifted and trained team will pray, listen to God for you, share what they sense, then close in a brief prayer for you. We offer Personal Prophetic Ministry on the third Tuesday of each month. You can sign up here for the next session.
Learning More and Serving
We offer Biblical teaching and support and practice for those who want to explore this gifting of the Holy Spirit. If you want to join our team or just explore and gain more understanding of prophecy we would love to hear from you.
