Edler

Brent was raised in a strong Christian home and grew up at Sherwood Park Alliance church. After attending Canadian Bible College and graduating from the University of Alberta, he worked internationally, delivering humanitarian relief in the countries of Sudan, Somalia, Bosnia and Rwanda. He and his wife, Susie, moved to Calgary and began attending Foothills in 1993. Brent became a lawyer in 2001 and worked at what is now the world's largest law firm before going out on his own in 2009. His practice primarily revolves around serving individuals and families in the area of Wills and Estates Planning, Probate and Real Estate. He also has a significant practice serving charities across the country. At Foothills, Brent has previously served on the Board of Elders and other various ministries, including Ushering, Children’s Ministries and Life Groups. Brent served on the national board of the Christian & Missionary Alliance for 12 years, including on various subcommittees. Brent and Susie have three adult children, Noah, Hannah and Micah. Brent's interests include spending time with family and friends, reading and he is admittedly more interested in sports than he probably should be.
