rent and Mandy Trask have been members of Foothills since 2011, where Brent has been actively involved in discipling, teaching and mentoring leaders. Brent came to faith through the youth ministry at Southgate Alliance in Edmonton and later attended Canadian Bible College and Seminary, where he sensed God’s call to pastoral ministry. Mandy also came to faith as a teenager and pursued ministry training at Canadian Bible College, where she and Brent met.

After marrying, Brent and Mandy moved to Calgary in 1986 to help plant Bow Valley Alliance (now RockPointe Church), where they served together for 25 years. Brent later served as Superintendent of the Western District of The Alliance Canada 2011-2023, partnering with churches and leaders in disciple-making, renewal and mission. In recent years, he has also served in leadership with The Mustard Seed.

Brent is passionate about helping people experience the transforming grace of God and empowering leaders, teams and churches to live on mission together. He is known for his wisdom, leadership and ability to help organizations discern vision and move toward the future God is calling them into.
