Rest in God Alone

Psalm 62 was written by King David during one of his most challenging seasons of life - when everything around him was turmoil, when people had turned on him and when fleeing for his life. Instead of trusting in human power and wisdom, David pens a powerful encouragement to both himself, and to God’s people, to trust GOD so exclusively, so completely and so consistently that our souls can, in fact, REST - literally, WAIT IN SILENCE for God to act on our behalf.
