Foothills welcomes new Canadians from around the world! Every week of the year you will find a class or event that has been designed to welcome you, help you settle into Calgary, make friends and feel connected. You are invited to attend any and all events or classes that interest you. Friendly volunteers are waiting to meet you, answer your questions and get to know you and your family.
Current Programming
Intercultural Ministries at Foothills provides free classes to help newcomers to Canada settle into Calgary, make friends and feel connected. We currently have 200 students and volunteers registered for online classes. Some classes are large and some are small. Everyone is welcome. Students will receive a weekly email with links to Zoom and lessons.
