Prayer Pathways

At Foothills we believe in something called Pray First. It means, simply, that we pray first before anything else. We have many opportunities to join together to pray for each other, our community and our world. Scroll below to see how you can join us in Praying First!

Pray 1st

Church-wide prayer meeting every first Wednesday (except January) @ 7PM.

Men's Tuesday Prayer

Tuesdays @ 7AM on Zoom.

Prophetic Ministry

The Prophetic Ministry seeks to create a safe space for all to learn and grow together in prophesying and/or receive prophecy; that the body of Christ would be “edified, encouraged and comforted” (1 Cor. 14:3-4) and “built up” (1 Cor. 14:26c, Eph. 4:11-12).

Personal Prophetic Ministry

Would you like to be "encouraged, edified and comforted" (1 Cor. 14:3)?  Come for a 15 minute session where a trained team will pray, listen to God for you and share what they sense, then close in a brief prayer for you.

"In His Presence"

A Spirit-led night in God's presence together through worship music, silence and prophesying as He leads. Come to be encouraged and enjoy His presence with us!

Training

We offer Biblical teaching (includes practical components) on prophecy for any who are looking to understand more about prophecy, hear God and would like to learn to listen to God for others and/or have a prophetic gift and desire to learn and grow in community.

There are 2 courses offered:

1) "An Introduction to Prophecy"

•            Next offered: Mondays, Sep 26-Oct 24, 2022; 7-8:30PM (8:30-8:45 optional questions / further discussion)

•            Oct 10, 2022 - Thanksgiving, no class

2) "Intermediate Prophecy Course" (6 weeks)

•            Prerequisite: completion of "An Introduction to Prophecy"

•            Next offered: Mondays, Nov 7-Dec 12, 2022; 7-8:30PM (8:30-8:45 optional questions / further discussion)

Practice Sessions

Those who have completed the 2 courses are welcome to join practice sessions where the prophetic ministry team continues to learn and grow together by practicing what they learned in training.
