Sandra and her husband Don have been attending Foothills since 1997 when they moved to Calgary. They have four adult children Tim (Meryk), Brian (Amy), Dianna and Jennifer (Joshua), and three beautiful granddaughters. Sandra was born and raised in a Christian home in Ontario and came to know Jesus personally at a very young age at her mom’s backyard Bible Club. It has been Sandra’s joy to be involved in Christian service through the local church and through missions. At Foothills, Sandra has served as nursery coordinator, Alpha leader, life group leader and on the Global Impact Team. Sandra has been very involved with ministry in Guatemala through Impact Ministries over the past decade, including helping start a children’s home for abandoned and orphaned babies and children. Sandra enjoys spending time with family, going for long walks and baking.
