My Story with Loneliness
Our Stories Pt.2
August 3 - 4 • Andrew Berg
Have you ever felt indescribably alone?
That seems like a rhetorical question. No matter what age, gender, race, or occupation, loneliness is a part of the human experience. Whether you have been able to identify it or not, something is off. There was a time when humanity shared perfect community with God and with others. Sin enters the picture and all of a sudden there's something broken. Finding or creating community feels impossible or improbable due to innumerable factors.
This weekend I will share my personal experience with loneliness both on the experiential end and, admittedly, the roles I played in others' experience with loneliness. Even though it may seem an impossibility considering what you might be experiencing today, I believe that Jesus can be the hero of our story, together.
Let's talk about it this weekend. See you at church.
