Heather Laubenstein (Stage Hand)
Heather Laubenstein has been involved at Foothills for years. She teaches, directs and acts with various local theatres/schools. James Molnar (Bandito | Ensemble)
James Molnar has a passion for acting and creating his own original movies. His acting experience includes voice parts in Youtube productions, The Fixer (’15), Alice in Wonderland-Urban Edition (’18), Your Brain on Social Media (‘19) and of course, The Prince’s Bride.
Abby Schnell (Bandita | Ensemble)
Abby Schnell has participated in Foothills Productions since a young age. Select productions include Woven (‘14) The Fixer (‘15) Hopes and Fears (‘16) The Missing Peace (‘17) and most recently Christmas Letters (‘18). Abby is excited to experience fight choreography in a semi-professional environment. She looks forward to continuing to participate in Foothills Productions in the future.
Yvonne Ustick (Production Designer | Stage Hand)
Yvonne Ustick has done improv and costume design for Jubilations Dinner Theatre. She’s acted at Heritage Park the last 2 Christmases and done play reading for Urban Stories Theatre. She’s excited to be a part of the Alberta Badlands Passion Play (Jul ’19) “Magic is believing in yourself. If you can do that you can make anything happen.” Enjoy the Show.
Paul Ustick (Captain | Ensemble | Head Carpenter)
Paul Ustick began his sojourn into acting by writing, directing and performing short dramatic skits in his home church. The skits led to full plays involving the Heritage Park Players which he is still involved with. 3rd rule of theatre: "Don't dream it.. be it" Enjoy the show!
Levi Schnell (Grumpkin | Ensemble)
Levi Schnell returns to the Foothills stage because, as he put it, “…well, the rest of my family’s here.” Foothills credits: The Missing Peace (’17). A student at Hidden Valley School, Levi loves art in many forms and has enjoyed adding stage combat to the list!
Megan Matthies (Northern Army Leader | Ensemble)
Megan Matthies is an award-winning performer with diplomas in Speech Arts & Drama from Trinity College London. She has performed with Lethbridge Musical Theatre, Heritage Park Players and at community events in Chestermere. She is delighted to be part of The Prince’s Bride and thrilled to share this experience with her husband Cody!
Andrea Bieganek (Ensemble)
Andrea Bieganek has always loved theatre and has been in Foothills Christmas productions as a part of the ensemble: Hopes and Fears ('16), The Missing Peace ('17), and Christmas Letters ('18). Once again, she is honoured to work with passionate and talented individuals in telling this story! Hope you have as much fun watching it as it was to tell it!
Jaydie Ann Cherry (Ensemble)
Jaydie Ann Cherry returns for her second production with Foothills! She has done theatre for Vacation Bible School. She also has had hip-hop training, and has performed as a vocalist and as a pianist at the Composers Recital. She loves to be on stage, and is thrilled to be a part of this show.
Terry Chung (Ensemble)
Terry Chung is excited to be a part of this amazing cast, and great show. Involved in community theatre for 11 years, credits include: City of Angels and Anything Goes (Front Row Centre), Don’t Get Your Vicars in a Twist (Symon’s Valley Players) and Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Liffey Players). Up next, is Lady in Van (Workshop Theatre).
Leanne Frank (Ensemble)
Leanne Frank returns for a second performance with Foothills. Getting involved with theatre later in life has been a wonderful challenge. Previous theatre performances include Midsummers Night Dream (‘17), The Government Inspector (‘18) and HR (‘18).
Scott Hyrcha (Ensemble)
Scott Hyrcha was a part of The Uprising (’12) and more recently Christmas Letters (‘18). He has enjoyed the experience of stepping out of his comfort zone and onto the stage and he is looking forward to this opportunity to enjoy the experience once again.
Darlene Joseph (Ensemble)
Darlene Joseph is mom and wife, but her spare time finds her learning to act or practicing vocals. She began on stage dancing and singing, then one day decided to take acting classes! Credits include: The Son, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Painted Fish Theatre Company). She’s very excited to be a part of this production.
Cody Matthies (Ensemble)
Cody Matthies is excited to be part of The Prince’s Bride, his first semi-professional production. He is thankful that his wife Megan encouraged him to try theatre as he has enjoyed the experience very much. He appreciates his family and friends for all their support and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Jane Oliphant (Ensemble)
Jane Oliphant is back for a second production at Foothills. She loves the power of story and is a recent graduate from theatre school. Past Foothills credits: Christmas Letters (Mary). Jane loves to move and play and is very happy this story involves so much fight choreo! Enjoy this exciting show and dare to be inspired!
Chris Ritter (Ensemble)
Chris Ritter joined the cast simply because he was lonely; his wife and daughters were involved and his son was focused on his schooling. Chris’ first rehearsal was fight choreography, and he was hooked. He has enjoyed the community with his fellow actors and being on the Foothills stage again.
Sarah Ritter (Ensemble)
Sarah Ritter has been a part of many productions at Foothills and has also been involved in the Canadian Badlands Passion Play. She is ready to kick butt (or maybe lose... a lot) with some super cool stage fighting.
Heather Ritter (Ensemble)
Heather Ritter has been involved in multiple productions with Foothills in the past, but The Prince's Bride definitely one of her favorites so far. She has greatly enjoyed learning so much stage combat and is looking forward to performing alongside her family.
Synthia-Furyona-Murdera-Beastra (Dragon)
Synthia-Furyona-Murdera-Beastra is excited to begin her theater career at Foothills. Previously Synthia has done film work such as Fergie in the Shrek franchise, How to Train Your Dragon (ensemble), The Games of Thrones (stunt work) and actor coaching for Smog (The Hobbit). Synthia was first inspired as a child when reading the book Pete's Dragon.
